About Me

Why blog? I have asked myself this question a multitude of times. Simple answer? My husband and I recently moved to Louisville, Kentucky from none other than College Station, Texas. That's close to 1000 miles of beautiful (and not so beautiful) land that now lays between many of my friends/family and me. So, what better way to share the every day occurrences of life in Kentucky than through a blog?

Also, I'm a woman. Obviously. As a woman I have become passionate about equipping and teaching other women how to unashamedly live and declare the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe this is done primarily through discipleship--learning to follow and learn from the example of Christ alongside fellow Gospel believers. I see this blog as an opportunity to share some of the lessons the Lord teaches me through discipleship and community as I walk through life as a wife, homemaker, seminary student, friend, waitress, and whatever other role He may have planned for me!

I am currently attending Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in hopes to acquire an MA (or MDiv) in Discipleship and Family Ministry.

I am a waitress at Texas Roadhouse and LOVE it.

I love biking, reading, hiking and am quite the movie buff!
